Community Property Debt Can Come Back To You If Your Ex Dies

I spent Saturday and Sunday at the Welliver Bridal Show at Lakeside Shopping Center.  I had brochures available regarding wills and community property.  Also, I had copies of my book “Divorce in Louisiana” available for purchase.  The reaction of the brides was priceless.  I was told, “we havent even said I do yet!”  Many were standing 15 feet away looking at the book in horror.  Many of the brides would stop at the table next to me and then veer around my table.  I wish all of the brides and their families the best in their future.  May they never need my services for a divorce in the future.
