At a minimum, there will be a one hundred eighty days where there are no minor children of the marriage from the date of service of the divorce petition on the spouse who did not file for divorce or from the date the non-filing spouse filed a waiver of service and citation with the court. If there are minor children of the marriage, you and your spouse will be required to reside separate and apart three hundred sixty-five days, at a minimum.

The divorce can be obtained without the other issues, such as custody, support, property, and debts, being completely settled between you and your spouse.
