Samantha Spitale
Born and raised in Amite, Louisiana, Sam is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University. She attended law school at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. There, she worked as a teaching assistant for Lawyering I and Successions. She later competed as a brief writer and oralist for the First Amendment Moot Court team, ultimately winning the Loyola Moot Court’s Outstanding 3L award. She also served as Articles Editor for Loyola’s Journal of Public Interest Law. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Loyola, she became licensed to practice law in Louisiana in 2017.
Sam worked as a law clerk for Judge Mitchell Theriot at the First Circuit Court of Appeal after graduation. As a result, she has extensive research experience and has written judicial opinions on a variety of topics. After taking a particular interest in family law, Sam joined Betsy A. Fischer, LLC as an associate attorney in July 2021.
Sam is currently accepting clients in the parishes of Jefferson, Orleans, St. Tammany, St. Bernard, and St. Charles.
In her spare time, Sam enjoys reading, trying new restaurants in the city, and playing a variety of musical instruments.
